Rules for Guests

By coming into the room, it is expected that you have read and agreed to the room Rules & Regulations. Failure to comply to the rules will earn you an instant boot. If you have anything against this, please feel free to leave the room.

1. Please respect everyone in the room. By entering our room, you agree that you are not to initiate discussions related to drug-abuse, violence, hate, harassment, racism, sexually explicit content, including content that is false, inaccurate, offensive, threatening or invasive of a person's privacy. For more information on what actions the room considers rude, please refer to our Chat Room Etiquette Guidelines (CREG). Otherwise, please use common sense.

 

2. Café Nyan is a roleplay (RP) room requiring RP speech and narration at all times. If you would like to speak out of character (OOC), please use [brackets] to indicate so. 

3. RP services provided by staff should not be taken to heart. All interaction with Café Nyan staff and services within the room that are roleplay (RP) should remain only as roleplay (RP).

4. Café Nyan is a No Parking zone. Do not AFK or leave your avatar idle in the room for long periods of time.

5. Please keep kbs UNDER 3 000 to prevent lagging (To check your kbs, please look at the room info/room card, locate your username, and look under “size”. If over 3 000, remove any unnecessary accessories e.g. dances, voice boxes, wings, pets, lights, etc.)

6. Do not wear oversized wings, tails, auras, resizer, body light or any products that could potentially block or interfere with other visitors’ view.

7. Please always ASK to play music in the room. Nobody wants a heart attack. Only music from the music store is allowed. Please do not play music or voice boxes with triggers (worn products) as they could potentially lag other guests.

8. Speak only English in the room. The room is tagged under "English". Speaking other languages in the room may exclude other guests, who may only understand English, from participating in conversations.

9. Please do not wear staff uniform if you are NOT a registered staff in the room. Staff have responsibilities in the room that you do not have. I do not want other guests confused as to who to contact for emergencies, queries, etc.

10. Do not stand behind "Staff Only" premises unless given permission by staff. 

11. Café Nyan is a GA room. Please do not wear AP outfits in the room. If a staff who does not have AP was made to believe that you were wearing an AP outfit, you will still be booted for starting unnecessary chaos.

12. If the room is full, please message a staff present in the room to receive an invite.

 

Should any issue persists, please message the owner using the chatbox complete with your identification (IMVU username) and a copy of a chatlog or a screenshot so that the culprit may be blocked and banned from accessing the room.

Rules for Staff

1. Staff must always post an entrance and welcome new guests in the room.

 

2. Staff must always inform guests of the Rules Board.

 

3. Staff must always inform guests of the site.

 

4. At least one mod must be on duty 24/7.

 

5. Café Nyan Guest Rules 1-7 heavily apply to staff too.

 

6. All staff please remain in your stations. Only sit among the guests if you are offered to sit.

 

7. An idle staff is an absent staff. If you are in the room for your shift, ensure to give 100% of your attention to the room. Close other rooms open, otherwise, do not come in for your shift at all and message the owner about your absence.

 

8. If you are in the room for your shift, please ensure that you are wearing your designated uniform. If not, please take your uniform off. The same goes after your shift as soon as you have clocked out.

 

8. Staff are strictly obligated to treat ALL GUESTS AND STAFF equally. Meaning mistreatment of new or other IMVU players for any other reasons will NOT BE TOLERATED.

 

9. Everyone in the room gets ONE chance before being booted with no exceptions. If banning is required, please message the owner complete with a valid screenshot, showing the culprit's message or action.

 

10. If inviting a friend over in the room, please make sure they have read and understood the Café rules as there are no exceptions with booting and banning.

 

11. Dating between staff and guests are prohibited in the room.

 

12.  Consequences include termination and a possible ban from the room.

 

13. If reporting an incident with a guest or a staff is necessary, copy the chat box or send a screenshot of the chat and send to the room owner for assessment.
